Busan Jagalchi Festival Dates: early October Location: Busan (Jagalchi Fish Market) This annual event spans several days highlighting the local fresh seafood industry. After the opening ceremonies, which includes a parade of workers dressed like fish and other sea animals, visitors can watch several events (boat launch ceremony, fish dance exhibition, and fireworks), participate in contests (eel relay race, foreigners' cooking contest, and Jagalchi ajuma pageant), and, of course, eat fresh seafood and drink soju.
