Incheon International Airport operates the Cultural Museum of Korea in cooperation with the National Museum of Korea. The museum introduces Korean culture and art to foreign travelers. Located in the Transfer Lounge (4th floor) inside the new Concourse (which opened as part of the airport's 2nd Grand Opening), the museum showcases an impressive collection of artifacts throughout the 5,000-year history of Korea. Visitors have the opportunity to experience Korean culture and history in a single location. The museum has main themes: Traditional Arts, Traditional Music, Royal Culture, and Printing/Korean Alphabet Heritage.

Visitors to the Traditional Music section can see and hear traditional Korean musical instruments via an ultramodern media arts system. Instruments include a Jang-gu (double-headed drum pinched in the middle), Dae-geum (large transverse bamboo flute), and Buk (drum).

The Royal Culture exhibition contains items from daily life and costumes from the Joseon Dynasty, as well as ornaments from inside and outside the royal palaces. Some cultural artifacts representing the Confucianism of the period are also on exhibit. A Buddhist Arts section comprises diverse treasures of Buddhism, the religion that has had a wide influence on Korea's culture and history.

Visitors to the Printing & Korean Alphabet Heritage area can see several prized cultural artifacts that have Natural Treasure and UNESCO World Heritage status. These include the Mugu jeonggwang dae darani-gyeong ("The Great Dharani Sutra of Immaculate and Pure Light"), the oldest known wooden slab print in the world; Jikji, the world's oldest existing book published by movable metal type; and Yong-bi-eo-chun-ga ("Song of the Dragons Flying to Heaven") and Wol-in-chon-gang-ji-gok ("Songs of the Moon Shining on a Thousand Rivers"), two of the earliest works printed in Hangeul, (the Korean alphabet).
