Palgong-san is one of the most spiritual mountains in Korea. People believe that the
spirit of energy residing in the mountain will help bring Korea's dream of reunification.
Forming Daegu's northern boundary with North Gyeongsang Province, the dividing ridgeline
offers spectacular views on both sides. The Daegu side has many temples and scenic areas,
including Katbawi Peak,
Dongwha-sa, and P'agye-sa. (See also the
