Kayasan is a mixture of craggy cliffs and rolling hills. The hillsides are covered with coniferous trees and deciduous trees, with young bamboo in some areas. The main hiking trail leads from Haeinsa to Kayasan peak. Famous Sites: Haein-sa is by far the most famous temple in the park. Tripitaka Koreana- the woodblocks with the entire collection of Buddhist scriptures is housed in Haein-sa. Gilsang-am, a small hermitage, is near the park entrance.
