Central Park in New York, Hyde Park in London; now there is Seoul Forest in Seoul! Seoul City opened Seoul Forest in June 2005 after about 1 year of development. To make the existing Ttukseom Sports Park areas into a large-scale city forest like New York's Central Park, the city spent 235.2 billion won in development. Created on 350,000 pyeong of land, Seoul Forest helps satisfy the residents' desire for usable green space with over 400,000 trees and 100 different animals. Seoul Forest is divided into 5 different districts: Cultural Art Park, Ecological Forest, Nature Experiencing Studying Field, Wetlands Ecological Field, and Han River Waterside Park. The various areas include an outdoor stage, Seoul Forest Square, ecological play ground, butterfly green house, bicycle roads, and walking paths.
* 5 Theme Areas

1. Cultural Art Park: In the center of Seoul Forest is a park with various performance spaces and facilities for leisure and sports have been installed. It is a well-balanced space with shade, foliage, flowers, and trees. An outdoor stage was installed on a 8,000-pyeong grassy field where cultural events can be enjoyed. The thick grass is perfect for children to play. The mirrored pond at the entrance creates beautiful scenery reflecting Eungbong-san and the thick forest across the pond. The area also contains a restaurant, waterside park, children's play ground, and skate park.

2. Ecological Forest: This ecological forest is where visitors can observe wild animals closely, with about 90 wild animals (8 different types, including roe deer, elk, mandarin duck, and mallard). The section contains a pond, hill, and habitat for wild animals. For the safety of visitors and animal protection, a deer observatory and feeding place were installed.
3. Nature Experiencing Studying Field: Re-utilizing the Ttukdo Water Purifying Center's structure, an insect botanical garden was created, made of a glass dome with a wild flower garden, event field, and forest.
4. Wetlands Ecological Field: Utilizing the existing natural environment of the reservoir, a wetlands ecological field, ecological playground, wetlands flower garden, and bird observatory were installed.
