from the past, present, and future. This area of Nonhyeon-dong is the largest furniture shopping area in
Gangnam-gu with 100 showrooms. Throughout Korea the area is well-known as the best place to shop for
quality kitchen, bedroom, and office furniture. Shoppers can find mother-of-pearl and other hand-made
pieces designed by master craftsmen as well as many imported works. The area attracts middle-aged
shoppers looking to create a sophisticated atmosphere in their homes, as well as younger people looking
for more practical styles. Most stores are open 9:00-20:00 daily, except for the 1st Sunday of each month.
