Paris Park was built inside the Mokdong apartment housing area in 1987
to symbolize friendship between Korea and France. The park has several sections: Seoul Plaza,
Paris Plaza, a multi-purpose square, pond, and outdoor exhibition lot. The park contains about 15,800
trees, including pines, marronniers, and zelkova trees. Local residents can enjoy walks along several
winding paths with many benches on which to sit and relax.
