Damyang Bamboo Park

Damyang Bamboo Park is a theme park landscaped with bamboo. Visitors can enjoy a path through a high bamboo forest, refreshing air in the winds that blow through the area, and a thick pine forest with a path winding through it. Visitors can also enjoy the flavor and charm of tea. The area has Green Town, a grass field and gathering place, lodging, outdoor cooking area, shower facilities in the park, and facilities to play volleyball, table tennis, and badminton.

This park is very famous for TV shootings. It is most famous for and drew high interest for a scene in the Korean popular drama "Damo", in which Chae Ok (actress Ha Jiwon) and Jang Seongbaek (actor Gim Minjun) had a spectacular fight scene flying among the straight bamboo forest. It is also famous for the mobile phone commercial where famous Korean actor Han Seokgyu says, "It's good to turn off your phone just for a while" while he is walking through the forest enjoying nature. Besides these, the area was also the filming place for the KBS-TV drama with Korean legendary stories " Jukgwi," "Last Witness," and the film released an March 2003, "Sword In The Moon."
