Sokcho is famous as the main entry point to Soerak-san
National Park and includes the area knows as 'Outer-Seorak.' Sokcho also held the 1999 Gangwon
International Tourism Expo. In addition to Seorak-san, the area includes a number of beaches, spas,
lakes and streams for fishing, and many lodging and leisure facilities to take care of all the visitors.
