Jeju Art Center Tap-dong-ro (Tap-dong Street) is the main tourist area of Jeju City, running near the boardwalk from Jeju Port. Many of the larger and more expensive tourist hotels are located here. Because of the number of fresh fish restaurants, it is also called "Haechip Street." The area is popular among college students and newlyweds.

Many people enjoy the nightlife here, having a late seafood dinner, shopping from the night street vendors, going to the numerous nightclubs, watching a performance at the Cheju Seaside Art Center, or just walking along the boardwalk. T'apland Amusement Park has 8 different rides for children and adults. Admission to the park is free, but each ride requires a ticket. The prices depend on the popularity of the ride- adults: W1,000-3,000; Children/Soldiers: W1,000-2,000. People also enjoy the area during the day, shopping at the numerous stores selling souvenirs and Jeju folk crafts.

Hours: many entertainment places remain open until 4:00 a.m.

Food and Drink:
The area has dozens of fresh seafood restaurants. The Jeju Fisheries Coperative Organization is located at the end of the street, at the port. Many bars and nightclubs are also located here.
