
This area is a small peninsula on the northeast side of the island. The rocky beach
affords a good view of Seongsan Ilch'ubong and nearby
U-do Island. The strangely shaped rock outcroppings capture the water when the tide
goes out and creates many small tide pools. You can often see people and birds scavenging
around the pools for crabs and squid.

The water here is very clean and clear. Many Haenyo work the area because of its water
clarity, and you can usually find them diving in the vicinity. The area does not usually get too
overrun with tourists, so it makes a good spot to have a picnic and enjoy the scenery.
Food and Drink:
Several nearby small shops sell drinks and snacks. on some days, old women sell seafood on the beach.
