picture courtesy of South Chungcheong Province Government Korea's 25th King (Muryong) and his queen were buried together in this tomb. Designated Historic Site #13, it was discovered accidentally in 1971 while repairs were being done on the nearby Songsanni Tombs (numbers 5 and 6). Almost 3,000 relics were discovered, one of the best finds showing the social and cultural aspects of the Paekche Kingdom. The tomb, constructed with bricks about 1,500 years ago, is very firm and elaborate. The exhibition hall in front of the tomb houses replicas of the tomb and various relics.
