The streets of Shinchon, located between three of the most prestigious universities in Korea
(Yonsei, Ewha Woman's, And Sogang), always seem filled
with happy and carefree youths. During the day, Shinchon
is full of students rushing to class, spending some time with friends in a coffee shop between
classes, or shopping. At night, they fill the streets, going between the numerous restaurants,
bars, rock cafes, and nightclubs that line the alleys. A number of Western-style bars and
restaurants have recently opened to cater to the large numbers of foreign students who have begun
coming to Korea, especially during the summer months.
