Located near the center of South Korea, Daejeon (old spelling: Taejon) serves as a major transportation hub at the junction of
Korea's major north-south railways and highways. The city is also a hub for research and science with Daedeok Science Town
and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Expo '93 was held in Daejeon and the grounds were later
